Clear Intention

It’s not just intention that counts, it’s CLEAR intention. There is a huge difference and a very important one to me. It’s the subtle casualty of intention and how that subtlety can be what ends up pulling the rug out from under your feet. “I intend to get a new job, I intend to move, I intend to get married to the man of my dreams.”  All this wonderful intention, right?!?!?!

Wrong. At least from my perspective.

What’s missing so much of the time is the clarity part of the intention. And lordy, lordy, please don’t go to the “how to” stuff here. That is not what I mean. It’s the details babe, the glorious, and delicious details of what is being intended.

I am confident that this audience has its share of smart people and we smarties can get stuck in the “how to”, because it has worked so well for us here in the lovely Earth walk thing we are doing. And I digress. So, please understand you do not have to know how to get your Point B. It really is none of your concern. Your concern is with clear intention.  The “how to” part belongs to the superconcious.

This is where I (and you) can tap into the good stuff. Our creativity lives in the subconscious realm. I feel like that’s where all the clarity comes from in the form of those details I mentioned. So, if you want something to do, how about tap into your creativity? How about letting your thoughts take a joy ride?

This means getting specific, even writing down the specific details of what you desire.  Exactly how much money do you want to attract and in exactly how much time?  Not what you “think” you can create, yet what you truly want. No time should be wasted on “what I think is possible” stuff. This is about dreaming about what is desired specifically.

Write down a list or a paragraph or more of what your Point B looks like; what kind of car are you driving, how do you look, what types of charities are you participating in, how many people are you managing or hiring, what does your bank statement look like? Add all the little details that are important to you. Nobody else has to get it.

This is how to prevent from having your rug pulled out from under you. By discovering and honing in on all of the specifics, you are setting yourself up for a win.

The other thing I do, and advise my clients, to do is visioning. This may take more practice and that’s just fine. This is the Screen Of The Mind exercise done in the Basic Seminar. The more the technique is done, the easier it is to do. All the tools are right there for you to gain access to the clarity part of the intention that is critical in manifesting your perfect end result. Available to you are your black and brightly lit white screens, your workshop, your assistants, and all of their creativity and ideas.

Use these tools. Get clear. Have the results you actually want.

Clear intention works.

Much love….

Courage to Grow

Inspiration, Clarity, Declaration, Faith, Action, and COURAGE TO GROW by Manifesting.

I say it all the time to my clients and it’s a very good thing too, because I remind myself of all this good stuff: thoughts are things, and you create your experience. It’s this thing called manifesting. I know it’s a kinda’ “woo woo” out there phrase, and yet “manifesting” is the word that describes so much of what Thomas Wilhite taught me.

For me, the courage to declare what I want and step into faith is when I manifest.  So, I have a little story that I hope you enjoy and perhaps  can use to gain some insight.

The context here, besides the obvious PSI, in all of its glory is me being aware of what works for me: being with a good man who loves and adores me, and getting out of my house. The other part is understanding that I know that I hold the context for my clients and because of that, I push myself…a lot. After all, how can I ask them to do what I would not be willing to do myself?!

Prior to a call with one of my clients, I declared out loud that I was going to manifest a new client within a week. I did this because I knew that she was wanting to do the same for herself. I didn’t have anyone in mind and declared to have a new client anyway. Uncomfortable growth. Intention/Mechanism from the Basic Seminar. Read more

Screening My Way to Success

Of all the tools and techniques I’ve learned from PSI Seminars, Screen of the Mind has got to be my favorite. I’ve used this simple meditation to manifest everything from new living room furniture to a more fit physique to playing a sold-out show at the world-famous Whisky A Go-Go. Most recently, I used Screen of the Mind to land the career of my dreams and create a life of liberty and abundance.

Last year, my amazingly brave 9-year old brother was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer that rapidly destroyed his leg. Living in California, 3,000 miles away from my family in New York, proved to be very challenging at that time. I decided to take six weeks off from work and go home to support my family. The experience was life-changing, and in ways one might not expect.

I returned to California certain of one thing: it was time for a change. I would have stayed longer in New York, except I had to get back to work; I had to pay the bills. I realized that I was a prisoner of my own making. I had structured my life with very limited liberty, and after seeing my baby brother’s life threatened, it became clear to me that there simply is no time to waste. If I was going to live a worthwhile life for however long I might be blessed with one, I had to do it NOW. Read more

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Pole

It’s interesting to think about how I used to show up prior to my entry into personal development and the PSI Seminars Basic back in December of 2002! It’s actually unfathomable for me to contemplate my life without the important concepts that support my daily living with ease and grace now. Once I had a taste of what was possible from the Basic Seminar, there was no turning back for me. In 9 months I had played PLD, attended PSI 7, the Life Success Course, gone to WLS, the Women’s Leadership Seminar, twice (two months in a row due to my daughter’s car accident), and I was at the PSI’s 30th Anniversary Principia event and wanting MORE! The classes were to become the basis of the new “ME”. Jodi at her best – imagine that!

That brings me to today, thinking about what commitment looks like for me since that time. As a longtime Realtor and healing facilitator in Las Vegas, I have put my priorities in order to live a healthy and successful life of service. My desire to serve others in real estate has covered the span of 29 years, this being my last full time year on this 30 year adventure! I have also shared the ancient art of healing with Reiki since 1996 and am now preparing for my work with my mentors Dr. Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, and Caroline Myss, helping people heal en masse for the 2nd half of my life experience. Mirror, Mirror

In early 2008, a friend of mine named Noah invited me to a presentation for a class called the PSI Basic Seminar. I didn’t know anything about the class; although I knew my friend Noah was into personal and professional development and I trusted him. He was several years younger than me, yet radiated an indescribable characteristic that I admired. So I attended the presentation.

The cynic in me had many doubts and criticisms at the presentation. Yet, there were areas in my life that I wanted to improve. I wasn’t really living the life I wanted to live. I was going through the motions of life, having some success without truly feeling inspired by anything. I had always wanted to be a writer, talking about writing a book over the past decade without ever taking any steps toward my dream. That’s all I thought it was: a dream. People from Cleveland, Ohio don’t become successful writers. Do they?

Torn between doubt that the class wouldn’t offer anything of value and desire to live the life I wanted, I enrolled into the Basic. Five years later, I happily admit that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It was a life-altering, benchmark, “what rock had I been living under” kind of weekend. Simply put, it was all about mirrors. Read more
